Pneumatopteris sogerensis spore
Pneumatopteris (new ma top ter iss) sogerensis (so ger en siss) is a large fern that needs to be grown in the ground in a sheltered, open situation with adequate water. When it reaches mature size it has a short, thick trunk which will eventually be too weak to support the huge fronds and it will fall sideways - unless staked. When this happens in its natural situation, it puts down new roots close to the growing tip, and fronds grow upwards from there. This process continues for the life of the plant.
This is a lovely fern, but it needs room.
This spore does not require any special treatment. Just treat like any other spore.
