Australian Tropical Plants Upgrades:
Some small changes have been made to the modules in Australian Tropical Plants Version 4. You can click on any or all of these to download. They should be downloaded into the C:\ATP VERSION 4 folder so they overwrite the existing files. Latest update 23rd May 2011. If you upgraded from these downloads between the 29th April and 22nd May you only need to download the .exe module that suits your screen resolution, otherwise you need to download the Data and Map files as well. It may be some months before the new version filters through from retailers, if you do not have an option to search for a specific family on your version download the files below. Please also download the 'Data Files' zip file and unzip it to the ATP VERSION 4 folder of your conputer, and say 'yes' to overwrite existing files. Then download the Maps file and save it to C:\ATP VERSION 4\MAP\JPGS folder. All .exe files downloaded shold be saved to the folder C:\ATP VERSION 4 (unless you installed the program in another folder). The easiest way to do this is to right click on the link and select 'Save Link As' (or 'Save Target As' for IE) and browse to the folder C:\ATP VERSION 4 and select it. The ZIP files must then be unzipped - be sure the unzipped files go into the appropriate folder as listed above. Windows XP or higher can unzip zip files in Windoes Explorer, so no extra softwere is requiored. Just open Windows Explorer, browse to the C:\ATP VERSION 4 folder (or C:\ATP VERSION 4\MAP\JPGS for the maps.zip), right click on the .zip file and select 'Open'. In the left side of the window click on "Extract All Files" and follow the instructions. To make sure the files go into the correct folders click the 'Browse' button and browse to the required folder. If you are not familar with Windows Explorer or zip files you may be better off just downloading the zip files to the desktop then opening them from there in Windows Explorer. See "Making Windows Explorer More User Friendly" below.
